Only Corporate Editions permits very fast multi-condition stock searches. For example, locate product by description, stock group, supplier brand and location almost instantly, regardless of the size of your inventory file. Similar searches could take minutes in Enterprise & Professional Editions.

Per User Seat Licensing

When large numbers of users require access to your database, CAPITAL Corporate Edition's flexible licensing model can be very cost effective. Licensing is per active connection, rather than per user or computer. This means that if only 25 users need access to the database at any one time, only a 25 user licence is required, even if many more than 25 users need to access the database from time to time.

Enhanced Security

Corporate Edition can prevent users assigned to particular departments from being able to view the transactions or stock records of the users of other departments. The smaller editions of CAPITAL Office can only prevent their editing, not viewing.

Advanced Filtering

Stock records, customers, suppliers and other types of accounts, records and transactions can be limited or restricted for viewing in Corporate Edition.

Advanced Scheduling

CAPITAL Corporate Edition includes CAPITAL Server Agent, an administration tool to help manage user access and passwords, and other admin functions, and scheduling of processes and reports. CAPITAL Server Agent can perform periodic automatic database back-ups, and execute reports and scripts, and manage the importing of data (such as sales orders) from external sources.

Zero Administration

Many SQL databases are complex and require skilled technical people to install, and then manage and maintain on an on-going basis. The CAPITAL SQL database engine installs in minutes, and once correctly configured for the environment, is self-managing. There is no need to train or employ specialised technical consultants within or external to the business, to keep the database running and in a healthy condition.

SQL Compatibility

The Corporate Edition database supports most of the SQL-92 standard with ODBC extensions. A subset of ANSI SQL 2003 PSM is also supported.
